You are Cordially Invited to Attend a Special Program in Honor of the Bahá'í Martyrs
to be held at the Bahá'í Center on Saturday, January 10, 2009

Please arrive by 6:45 p.m. as the program will start promptly at 7:00 p.m.

sacrificeThe Middle Tennessee Bahá’í community, for the past quarter century, has held a memorial service for the Iranian martyrs, both recent and past, to honor their sacrifices and recognize their unique contribution in spiritually vitalizing the Cause of God. Their matchless acts of devotion testify to the power of their faith in Bahá’u’lláh and their desire for the entirety of mankind to recognize Him and enlist under His banner.

On January 10, 2009 we shall, once again, gather at the Middle Tennessee Bahá’í Community Center to remember and honor the Bahá’í martyrs. This year we are blessed by the presence of Mrs. Guiti Vahid —the sole survivor of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Iran. This is a rare opportunity for us to hear from a witness to such momentous events that were reminiscent of the Heroic Age of our beloved Faith.

The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Please arrive at 6:45 p.m. to ensure the program can begin on time.

Please Note: Due to the solemnity of the occasion, small children and babies are requested to stay in the nursery with a parent or responsible adult. The program can be viewed on the closed circuit television. An adult must accompany small children at all times while in the Center.

There will be no separate Unity Feast in January but we hope to see all of you at this special occasion.
