Kenny Mullins

Kenny MullinsKenny Mullins grew up in a musical family and has been playing professionally for over 30 years. He has toured the US, and Europe and has been an independent recording artist since 1978 when he self-released his first album (on vinyl), “The Tennessee Tapes”. Since then, he has produced and released numerous original recordings in a variety of formats and styles.

Kenny performs solo with just guitar and harmonica accompaniment in a style reminiscent of the great “folk” records of the 50s, 60s and early 70s on labels like Vanguard, Folkways and Columbia. He has several CDs to his credit, including "Skyline Nashville" and "Human Songs."

Throughout his three-decade career, Kenny has always given voice to social and political issues and has worked with many groups and organisations including the E.R.A., Pacem en Terrace, Creative Outreach, The Salvation Army, Leukaemia Foundation, Safe Energy Coalition, Feed the Children, the Philadelphia Homeless Union and many others. He has performed for our nation’s veterans and in shelters, hospitals, hospices and nursing homes and has appeared for the F.O.P. and in a number of our nation’s prisons.
