Carolyn Stalcup
A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Carolyn has spent the majority of her adult life in education. She was a teacher in the Davidson County School System for seven years, and then for 13 years a multimedia specialist at the Learning Technology Center at Vanderbilt. While at Vanderbilt, she was part of a team promoting such initiatives as "Schools for Thought" in Davidson County, Young Children's Literacy initiatives, K-12 education and the Principals' Leadership Academy. Carolyn was a leader in the Boy Scouts of Williamson County for many years and was also active in staffing youth, SEC and adult tennis tournaments in Middle Tennessee. A lifelong love of animals led her to develop educational websites and outreach curricula for the American Eagle Foundation and The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. She lives in Brentwood, TN with her husband, Bob, and is the mother of two sons.
